This was a former gas works, now converted to an arts zone. When I visited last year it had a variety of artworks and competitively priced refreshments. The last place is Three Mills island, to save some walking, we'll take the district line for one stop to Bromley by Bow. Here we can see some former, working mills on the river lea. I plan to visit this last place by mid-May to finalise the route. |
